These Core Union Pro 5 Pads & straps are back this year with upgrades that make the already good Union Pro pads even better. The new bindings ensure the best sessions by providing plenty of board feel and comfort when you need it. Easily train your board off tricks or ride super overpowered with great control – the Core Union Pro 5 pads have the perfect balance!
Core has made significant improvements to the Pro bindings this year. They have upgraded the pad itself with a raised edge. This provides grip everywhere, increases stability, and even better prevents unwanted slipping and rotating of the foot. The body of the pad has been made slightly firmer and stiffer, giving you a more direct feel with your board for even easier edging. However, the inside has been made softer to provide the comfort your feet deserve. The raised edge under the toes provides extra grip and allows you to secure your feet in the straps when you want to.
The two velcro straps allow you to adjust the straps perfectly to your own feet. You can also adjust the strap height on the sides of the binding. The bindings’ positioning can be adjusted left and right on the kiteboard. Finally, the rubber O-rings ensure that the screws remain in the pads when you want to travel with your bindings.
The bindings themselves are one size only, but if you want to ride with 5 mm neoprene booties, Core recommends the optional XL straps.
