The motor that drives the new SlingWing NXT is our new, lightweight Aluula Air Frame, the stiffness of which can be adjusted by the air pressure at the leading edge. 8 PSI creates a soft, springy ride that absorbs the pressure in strong or gusty winds. If you increase the pressure to 11 PSI, the wing feels like a sports car with its very direct ride. Strut pressure should always be 10 PSI, creating our best high performance canopy design to date. Advances in new materials, state of the art design and our tighter canopy profile ensure that the SlingWing NXT is balanced and easier to handle.
The SlingWing NXT is characterized by maximum performance in all areas, no matter how and where you use it. The SlingWing NXT features the new SlingGrip EVA with ClickConnect grip system. The pistol grip on the front allows for better control when swinging out and changing hands. The handles can be attached and removed with a simple click.

ALUULA NXT AIRFRAME DESIGN
The Aluula airframe is a strategically calculated LE with reduced diameter from the center of the LE wing to the wingtips and features our new revolutionary high-span, high-performance canopy wing design. Provides excellent balance and handling with first class flex characteristics. The Aluula airframe is stiff at the front and softens at the wingtips. It ensures that the first third of the canopy structure remains smooth and stiff to ensure performance on demand. This allows the wingtips to turn or run out in gusty weather and surf with complete control.
ALUULA MATERIAL
The Aluula material used throughout the airframe of the SlingWing NXT is a high strength, high molecular weight laminate with a biaxial lattice structure and extensive emulsion coating, eliminating stretch in all directions. Aluula is the secret to a lighter wing with all the features of the SlingWing NXT, a more balanced feel, better power control, stability and effortless flagging out when surfing.
RADIAL PANEL CANOPY CONSTRUCTION
We moved the panels to adapt them to the load on the canopy during flight. This was possible due to the stiffness that the LE generates to create the high tension and high performance canopy. These reinforced seams and a strategic alignment in the canopy prevent stretching.
ALUULA VERSASTRUT
With its hybrid canted-strut design. VersaStrut works with Radial Panel Canopy Construction to control our high tension canopy profile. It allows for fewer filler wall connections in the center section and a direct connection between the strut and canopy towards the trailing edge. The forward sloping section of the strut moves the wing further away from the driver, resulting in significant damping and giving the driver less room to maneuver. The direct connection of the strut to the rear of the canopy provides a more direct and faster response when pumping and distributes the load more evenly across the canopy.
SLINGGRIP HANDLES
The reduced diameter and ergonomically optimized pentagonal perimeter of the SlingGrip handles provide all-day comfort and better roll control by conforming precisely to the shape of your grip. We’ve also added a small extra sidewall with the 27-millimeter grip for fingers to hold onto when needed diameter and double-patterned EVA. A pistol grip front handle allows the rider to safely lift the wing and ride waves without having to move their hand to the strap handle on the leading edge, while still retaining the ability to regulate power and keep the trailing edge up.
CLICKCONNECT
ClickConnect is the easiest and quickest handle connection available on any sash. No tools are required to install your handles. Simply slide the handle into the connection point on the strut until it clicks into place. Nothing that could harm you or your board. The sophisticated ClickConnect brackets are stitched around the strut to distribute the load and prevent pinch points.
