The Duotone Rebel SLS 2024 has had an overall design update and you can feel it. To compete in the new skool big air discipline, the Rebel SLS 2024 has been given more hang time, a lighter bar pressure and a faster steering input. This is not only a very nice upgrade for the pros, who can do kiteloops with rotations and boardoffs more easily, but also for the average kite surfer who is trying to master one of these tricks. The biggest upgrade of the Rebel SLS 2024 can be found around the wingtips. The wingtips themselves of the Duotone Rebel SLS 2024 are optimized for big air, steering speed and hangtime. The struts in the wingtips are made of a new flex strut layout. This new flex strut layout ensures that the Rebel SLS has a greater overall flex, making the kite steer significantly faster than last year.
The bridle setup has also had a number of small tweaks to perfectly match the updated design of the Rebel SLS 2024. Duotone has deliberately opted for a bridle with a pulley system. The dacron of the Rebel SLS 2024 is made of Penta TX: super stiff and super light. The canopy of the Rebel SLS 2024 consists of exclusive Duotone Trinity TX. Trinity TX has a combination of a 3×2 ripstop material which according to Duotone gives the perfect combination of weight, flex and stiffness. Three of the five struts are made of full Penta TX, and the two outer struts of a Flex Strut combination, creating the fastest Rebel ever made.
Because no kitesurfer is the same, you can setup the Duotone Rebel SLS 2024 super easily to your wishes by adjusting the steering line attachment on the tips. This allows you to ensure that Rebel SLS steers faster, has a little more bar pressure or a combination of these.
