The Duotone Jaime SLS 2024 Kiteboard has been a favorite of almost every pro rider at Duotone for years. After 15 years of development, the Duotone Jaime SLS is back in the lineup in 2024. The Duotone Jaime SLS is on of the go-to kiteboard of 2-time world champion Andrea Principi. According to Andrea, the kiteboard is perfect for big air, which he demonstrates in his snake and double loop videos. Thanks to the tremendous grip that the Jaime brings with it, it’s even easier to maintain your edge in strong winds, allowing you to harness more power to jump even higher without losing control. The upwind properties of the new Jaime are also astonishing. Thanks to the new channels on the bottom, it’s even easier to ride upwind, doubling the number of jumps during your session. For 2024, the well-known SLS construction is back from Duotone. In this innovative construction, Biax Carbon and Textreme Innegra are used, providing explosive pop and a refined flex pattern while minimizing weight. Thanks to the extremely durable construction, the Jaime SLS can handle almost anything – whether you come down hard after a big air trick or practice hardcore freestyle tricks. Thanks to the carbon, the Jaime SLS is slightly stiffer than the ‘normal’ Jaime but feels faster and more playful. The ‘angled fins’ are back as well. The fins are mounted at an angle to improve grip and make upwind riding even easier. Combined with the completely new double rocker line concept, the pop is improved, leading to guaranteed height records. The Torsion Flex Cap is a kind of 3D cap that allows torsion in the lengthwise direction of the kiteboard. Because the Jaime SLS can twist, you get extra grip on the heelside, comfortable landings, and better upwind performance. The rocker line of the Duotone Jaime SLS 2024 changes depending on the situation. When kiting with low power, the board remains relatively flat to allow for quick planing. When the wind picks up, and you need to handle a lot of power, the kiteboard bends more, giving you more control and stability. The flex tips absorb shocks and provide buttery-soft landings. Grab rails are located in the middle of the rail, making it easy to practice board-offs or even board-off kiteloops!
